 Title Sequence

Our title sequence can be seen as Jason Smith approaches the police station and the camera pans up the building. The idea for our title card was to give a sense of terror while also focusing heavily on the mystery aspect of the film. Towards this goal, we decided it would be best to replace the "o" in "Roll" with a magnifying glass, signifying the detective work that would be seen in the film. The letters leaking blood as well as the bloody skull that can be faintly seen in the magnifying glass are pretty obviously for the purpose of representing death which is the ultimate cause for the events that take place in the film. This was originally my idea and there wasn't much debate nor argument so we simply decided on this without any deliberation or any other candidates. Ideally, the other parts of the title sequence such as the credits and such would be rolling as the mugshots are going, but not inhibiting the actual scene in any way.
