Sound Post
Concerning the sound aspect of our film, I would have to say that this is certainly something that is capable of much improvement; however, I do not believe it is within our capabilities to make such improvements simply due to a lack of professional equipment.
As shown in the image above, we had recorded separate clips for each individual section of the filming process. For example, the files in which have the word "intro" in it are to be used during the mugshot sequences so as to give a proper introduction to each character. These would then transition into the corresponding "interrogation" clip in which each character would essentially be pleading their case while also explaining their relation to the victim of the incident, whether it is minor or major.
Because of the varying clips, our film had a surprisingly good mic of non-diegetic and diegetic sound. The diegetic sound would be the narration, performed by Jacob, that would be introducing each character while the diegetic sound would be the actual interrogation scenes.
As for the actual editing, Kayla did a majority of the syncing and overlapping of the audio so as to ensure that it matches perfectly with the visuals. Unfortunately, this proved to be rather difficult as we were all essentially useless for the majority of the filming process which led us to watching an array of youtube videos on how to function our software, Davinci Resolve.
