Editing
For what is sure to be a long and strenuous process over the course of several long days. This first editing session did not last long as we soon realized the mistake of trying to edit on iMovie, though it still lasted for well over an hour. While I was the one doing the actual editing, the rest of the group were on the call providing their inputs and assistance as much as they can. Because iMovie is not an application truly tailored for extensive editing, we found this to be an especially major problem from early on. We solved this problem by transitioning into a different program called Davinci Resolve, which you will see at work in the next editing blog post. The main focus in terms of editing and transitions in this editing were very sudden jump cuts in which we would go back and forth between the mug shots and narrator description to the actual interrogation scenes.
